Properties are custom chunks in a report.
Properties are custom chunks that you can define manually – they are not automatically extracted from every document. You can use properties to associate custom or external information with documents.
Properties are found in the Report Designer. Clicking on the Properties tab opens the Properties Menu, which allows users to add custom chunks to their reports. Select New Property to manually enter the information and tag. Properties are useful for additional information not found in the report you may want to capture.
